The company was started in 1916 by John and William J. Werlich as the Canadian Wagon and Novelty Company which operation in Preston Canada. They made toboggans, skis, toy sleds, and wagons. In 1925 the Company was reorganized into the Werlich Manufacturing Co. Ltd. and added tricycles and bicycles to its manufacturing line. In 1957 Werlich Manufacturing Co purchased the Canadian Buffalo Sled Co. and used the former factory as a warehouse. On February 27th 1968 a fire completely destroyed the companies manufacturing plant. Losses were estimated at $250,000. For a short time manufacturing resumed in the old Buffalo Sled Co warehouse but was short lived. During the winter of 1968-69 the company was purchased for 1.1million by the Leisure Group of Los Angeles California who moved the company in 1970 to Stratford Canada.

I am putting an old Werlich 2 meter tobooggan. The bottom needs refinishing. Any idea what I should use?
