Ski House - Decorated by Vintage Winter.

As the winter holiday season is now fully upon us I thought it would be fun to share a unique ski home we decorated. Located In Breckenridge Colorado, this vacation rental truly captures the essence of ski chalet décor. We placed some of our best items in the home including an original vintage Vail ski gondola. Antique wooden skis mounted in a cross grace the hand scribed log walls while one of our custom antique sleigh coffee tables creates an inviting atmosphere warmed by the stone fireplace. 

With your feet up and your body fully immersed into the down stuffed sofa you can see one of our VintageWinter Original Collection Ski and Poles Shelves displaying a collection of old ski photos. Rumor has it that framed photos of previous guests create this unique collection. Another set of 1930’s wooden skis fill the wall this time in a parallel fashion with authentic bamboo ski poles complete with their original leather baskets and hand straps.  They are hung with our own creation the Vintage Leather Ski Mounting Kit.

Walking around the rest of the home you will notice vintage European ski posters, a standing coat rack we made from two sets of wooden skis, Swiss and German hand painted armoire's, bronze Black Forest mounts and truly lovely antique hand woven area rugs.
