This listing is for the pair of Brunswick Snurfers shown. They are both in good to very good condition. Both have the original nylon braided rope. The brown "Super Racing Model" has all foot nubs in place, and the yellow foot pad staples are also all original. A great pair!
They will show very well in a collection or on the wall. Snurfers and Skifers were the first versions of snowboards. Most of the early pioneers of modern snowboarding owned these “toys” throughout their life. Sherman Poppen invented Snurfers in 1965 in Muskegon, Michigan. Many attribute and we recognize Sherm as the father of modern snowboarding. Jake Burton (one of the first to shape vintage snowboards) would modify Snurfers (adding bindings) and began winning competitions thanks to his design.
