Rarity, Character, History, three words; one set of very unique skis.  Quite possibly the longest set of antique skis we have ever owned.  These skis feature double grooves on their bases suggesting use for speed and jumping.  Many longboards like these were used in some of the first ski races in the world.  Miners in Northern California and Southern Oregon would wage high stakes, some even bet their claims or hundreds of dollars in gold.  Races continue today and one of the finest in the country is by the Plumas Ski Club in Johnsville California on the third Sunday of January, February and March.
