This old wood Burton snowboard is in choice condition having only been ridden a couple times before being stored away. It is missing the power cord and handle. It has spent its entire life in a heated four car garage. The original owner was given this board as a Christmas present in 1983 on a trip to Telluride. You will likely not find another Burton Backyard in better condition. This one has a few slight scratches on the base from the test runs. Serial number:
The Backyard Snowboard was designed as an economically priced Snowboard for those who plan on riding less often, and mainly on smaller hills. The Backyard Model does not come with bindings or a safety leash, but does include a power cord and a twin-fin roundtail tracking system. While the Backyard Board will handle any size rider it is ideal for the very young (under ten) beginner who might feel uncomfortable in bindings while learning.
