A very unique set of antique Ojibwa/ Chippewa snowshoes.  Notice the classic upturned tips and two piece design.  Unique vintage red and green paint combined with a traditional Native mid section, outer babiche wrap, reinforced tip cross bar and cotton lacing and decorative lacing designs make for a wonderful display piece.  Many Native First Nation people crafted snowshoes in this style including the Cree, Nascapi, Montagnais and others.
