How to use the VintageWinter Mounting kit to hang vintage skis, poles, golf clubs, canoe paddles, fising gear, mountaineering axes, etc.

Now you have the strip(s) of leather and 4 drywall screws for a simple yet elegant do-it-yourself installation. Our leather mounting kit is a great way to hang your treasred item and soon-to-be artwork. It not only looks great, but really works well to secure your piece to the wall. INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Locate and mark the spot you're going to hang your item.
2. Screw one side of the leather strip to wall
3. Place ski "inside" leather strip and "trap" the ski to the wall by screwing another screw into the leather as close as possible to the ski - keeping the ski snug to the wall.
4. Repeat at the tip and tail of each ski.
5. Trim away any excess leather (easiest if you center the leather straps over your piece before it gets screwed to the wall. We have cut the leather to optimally fit most applications.)
6. We can custom cut any size for you - just ask!
